News on Phone
Service was launched on 25th February, 1998 from New Delhi. All India
Radio is running the service from Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Patna, Ahmedabad,
Bangalore, Jaipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Imphal, Lucknow, Raipur, Guwahati and
Shimla. The service is accessible through STD, ISD and local telephone calls.

Each call will be charged at "Premium Call Rates " i.e
Rs. 1.20 and Rs. 2.40 per minute for
intra and inter circle calls respectively for GSM
subscribers and 60 & 30 seconds pulse rate
for intra and inter circle respectively for PSTN Subscribers.
